Who I am
I am an Italian occupational therapist, proud of my Sicilian roots, which have shaped my curiosity, resilience, and love for connection. I studied occupational therapy at the G. d’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara, and since then, my professional journey has been guided by a simple but powerful mission: to empower people to do, grow, and reach their full potential.
Global Care OT is my personal project, created to share knowledge and resources about occupational therapy, rehabilitation, wellbeing, and person-centered care in an international and multicultural context. Through this website, I aim to promote inclusion, independence, and participation in everyday life by providing accessible occupational therapy information for individuals, families, students, and healthcare professionals.
I collaborate closely with families, teachers and schools to create supportive environments where children and young people can thrive with confidence. My approach is always client-centered, combining clinical expertise with flexibility and sensitivity across different cultures and contexts.
International experiences have expanded my perspective, showing me the many ways occupational therapy can empower individuals and communities. Whether through in-person sessions, intensive programs, or remote support, I strive to provide meaningful, practical and lasting guidance that truly makes a difference.
At the heart of my work is a belief in the transformative power of occupational therapy: every session is an opportunity to open doors, build confidence and enable people to take action in their everyday lives—wherever they are in the world.
